New website…

As you probably have seen, I’ve updated my website. Not with a bunch of new photos and stuff, but actually with less of the older work. As a friend of mine told me, when you have a store, you don’t put everything you’ve got in the shop’s window. You show them your best work, the stuff you really like to do and the stuff you want them to hire you for. As I like to do a lot of things and as I loved to be asked for various sorts of work, I had cramped everything on my website. So a website with 12 or 14 different categories and a blog and… and… and… But, here’s a new website. My main drive is documentary. I love shooting reportage. From there, doing portraits is only a small step. People are an important part of my documentary work, if not the most essential one. Analogue is a new found passion that I really like exploring, so that is kind of the extension of ‘independent’ work. I believe that one can get the best sample of what a photographer is like, is by looking at his or hers personal work. So I had to get rid of all the other stuff; my weddings, commercial work, real estate work, dreams ( only online - I still have them!), example contract or privacy statement. I still do and have these assignments on occasion, when people ask me for it, but it’s just not in “the store’s window” anymore.

And there you have it; a new website. Hope you like it!
